As well as the town centre shops mentioned, there are several other shopping parades located throughout the village. There are a number of primary schools as well as Gosford Hill secondary school, and there is also a main Thames Valley Police Station. All in all, Kidlington is a bustling, lively place to live, with its own identity yet being just on the edge of the historic city of Oxford, accessible in minutes by a range of means.
